Since
1999, Wedshops.com has been providing brides and grooms with a guide to
the best wedding related products and services in the greater Charlotte
metro area.
Unlike larger
national listing sites,
Wedshops.com focuses on only one geographic area. This means
that
virtually all our traffic is relevant to our advertisers, and all of
our customers are seeking products and services from local vendors.
All listings are $45 off for the first year, or
Free!
There
are four main types of advertisements on Wedshops:
1)
Display Ad
on
Wedshops Home page and listing pages
This
option allows a vendor to have a 168x168 square
advertisement on the home page of Wedshops.com. Our home page
generates the most traffic, so this advertisement will be seen by
nearly all of Wedshops vistors. Your ad will appear on the
Wedshops.com home page below the featured wedding section.
Your
ad will
also appear on the bottom of our vendor category menu, on every
category page.
- The vendor must have a Silver
or Gold listing with Wedshops.
- The cost is $100 for the first year.
- Ads rotate
periodically so everyone
has an opportunity to appear at the top.-
If a vendor does not have a banner or does not wish to design their
own, Wedshops will design one to your specifications FREE.
2)
Sponsor a
Category.
This
option allows a vendor to have a 468x60 banner at the top
of one listing category, typically the category in which the vendor is
listed. The banner will either link to the advertisers
listing page, or directly to their web site.
- There
are a maximum of three sponsors per category. This is to ensure that
our website remains functional, and that our advertisers get the
listing
position that they are paying for.
- The vendor must have a Silver
or Gold listing with Wedshops.
- The cost is $75 for the
first year for one category.
$50 per year for additional categories.
- If a vendor does not have a
banner or does not wish
to design their own, Wedshops will design one to
your specifications for
FREE!
3)
Sign up for a
Listing
This
option allows a vendor to have a listing in the category of
their choice. This listing leads to a listing page, which
displays all of the information the vendor wishes to make public,
including telephone number, website, email address, physical adrress
and more. There are three types of vendor listings on Wedshops:
Gold, Silver, and Basic.
Gold
Listing
- The best listing available. A Gold Listing insures that
your
business appears at the top of your category, generating more traffic
to your listing page and web site.Your listing page will include:
- 1 full year of service.
- A Wedshops.com web page titled
wedshops.com/yourpagename.html
- Descirptive text (up to 1000 characters) describing
your business
- Your contact information, including email, telephone
number, and address*
- A link to your website
- Up to 10 images of your product or service
- Your choice of page background color
- A higher list rank than a Basic or Silver Listing
- Option of additional pages for only $45 each
The 1st year is $100 per category,
(regular $145 - save
$45!)
$50 per additional category.
Silver
Listing
- Our 2nd best
listing available. A Silver Listing ensures a higher listing
rank
than our free Basic Listing. A Silver Listing includes:
- 1 full year of service.
- A Wedshops.com web page titled
wedshops.com/yourpagename.html
- Descriptive text (up to 500 characters) describing
your business
- Your contact information, including email, telephone
number, and address*
- A link to your website
- One image of your product or service
- Your choice of page background color
- A higher list rank than a Basic Listing
The 1st year is $50 for the first
category (regular $95
- save $45!).
$25 per additional category.
FREE
Basic Listing
- These listings will appear below the Gold and Silver listings, but
visitors will still be able to view your contact information and visit
your website. A basic listing includes:
- 1 full year of service.
- A Wedshops.com web page titled
wedshops.com/yourpagename.html
- Descriptive text (up to 400 characters) describing
your business
- Your contact information, including email, telephone
number, and address*
- A link to your website
The 1st year is FREE!
for the first category
for a limited time (save $45!)
$25 per additional category.
* You must post at least one form of
contact information.
You are not required to post more than one, but you may post
up
to four.
4)
Featured Site
Advertisement
This
option allows a vendor to have a 468x60 banner
advertisement at the top of every page on Wedshops.com. There
is
only one featured site advertiser, so you get maximum exposure
throughout the entire website.
- A vendor myst have either a Silver
or Gold listing.

The current Featured Site Advertiser has been taken. As there
is
only one Featured Site Advertiser, no one else may sign up at this
time.
- If our current Featured Site Advertiser opts out, we
will open this option to other advertisers.
